Home Staging is professionally preparing homes for sale, so that they appeal to the most amount of buyers and generate the highest price in the least amount of time on market. In today’s market conditions, Staging sells homes.Stellar Staging Group was born after I decided I should add some Designations to my REALTOR® skillset. Staging was something I had wanted to become more proficient at, so I was going to take a two day class and add the ASP-RE® Designation to my credentials. However, when I got into the class, I realized I really wanted to complete the full course to be an Accredited Staging Professional in addition to being a REALTOR®. I always like to be educated in all areas possible in my work. I completed the training and earned the Accredited Staging Professional® Designation. This designation is part of my goal to help others in selling their homes. In November and December 2019, I enhanced my knowledge and credentials by adding the Luxury Home Staging Specialist and Buyer Trends Specialist Designations to my repertoire. In April 2020, I added the Investor Staging Consultant Designation as well.I always desire to improve my knowledge and my skill sets to do the best job possible for my clients!
An Accredited Staging Professional® has completed training with StagedHomes.com which was founded by Barb Schwartz. Home Staging is NOT decorating, fluffing, interior design or redesign! Home Staging IS detailing, decluttering, depersonalizing and preparing a seller’s home to give it a “model home” appearance so that the potential buyer can “see” themselves living in the home. Staging is all about making a home more attractive to the potential buyers and getting it sold quickly and for the best price. I enjoy staging and decorating a home and seeing home buyers and the sellers reactions to the effects of staging. I have been involved in the buying and selling of real estate for most of my life. I grew up in a family of home builders and developers and helped my parents in the business. We staged homes before ‘staging’ was cool! Whether my own listing, or someone else’s listing or a For Sale By Owner, I am available to you to help you present your home, or your client’s home, in a manner that will bring ‘the’ buyer and ‘the’ offer you desire!
If your home has been on the market for 60 days or more and you have had few or zero showings you probably have it priced too high AND/OR you need to have it staged. The return on investment from staging normally far exceeds the cost, especially when you consider what effect dropping the asking price several thousand or more has on the seller’s pocketbook.I am a member of the International Association of Home Staging Professionals® and am active in the Local Houston Chapter as well.
